I’m Coach Lisa—a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Texas Masters Boxing Champion, and former corporate leader.
I led a large team at work while training as an amateur boxer. Along the way were exhausted days, sleepless nights, rising blood pressure, and the pressure of balancing work and life.
Perimenopause brought trouble building muscle, belly fat, stiffer mornings, joint pain, slower recovery, and less resilience to stress.
Through trial and error, I learned how to train efficiently for this stage of life. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my 40s, sleeping and eating better, and in control of my body and schedule.
